As a Quality Control Manager (QCM), you will lead implementation and execution of a comprehensive project-specific quality control program from notice of award through final completion. You will play a critical role in ensuring every aspect of the work meets contract requirements, owner expectations, and Absher’s standards for excellence, particularly on complex federal, government, and infrastructure projects. This role is ideal for a construction professional who brings deep technical expertise, strong field presence, and a passion for getting it right the first time. What You’ll Do Lead execution of project-specific Quality Control programs across all divisions of work Develop, implement, and manage Quality Control Plans, inspection checklists, testing requirements, and Definable Features of Work (DFOWs) Administer the Three-Phase Control process, including preparatory, initial, and follow-up inspections Identify quality concerns early and partner with project teams to drive timely resolution Oversee subcontractor QA/QC performance and coordinate with third-party inspectors and testing agencies Manage quality documentation including inspections, testing reports, RFIs, submittals, procurement tracking, punch lists, and closeout documentation Participate in site meetings including pull planning, commissioning, coordination meetings, and owner/consultant meetings Collaborate closely with
