What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2–4 years aerospace or high-reliability inspection experience, Proficiency in print reading and basic GD&T, Familiarity with IPC workmanship standards (for avionics), Familiarity with dimensional inspection methods (for mechanical), Demonstrated ability to work independently
What You'll Do.
Independently inspect production hardware within assigned qualification areas
Interpret engineering drawings
Perform in-process and final inspections
Initiate and document nonconformances (NCRs)
Communicate inspection results to production and quality teams
Support first article inspections and process/procedure feasibility studies under guidance
Maintain accurate inspection records and traceability
Perform visual and basic dimensional inspections on production hardware
Fulfill inspection plan criteria
Assist with QI buyoffs in Working Instructions
Document inspection results and observations
Identify and report potential nonconformances
Comply with AS9100 and internal quality system requirements
