What They're Looking For.
Must Have
2+ years of experience in garment quality inspection, ideally within menswear, tailoring, or shirts, Solid knowledge of garment construction, common defect types, and AQL inspection standards, Ability to read and interpret tech packs and garment specifications, Good written and spoken English for reporting to the regional QC Manager, Local language proficiency relevant to factory location, Self-motivated, reliable, and able to work independently with minimal supervision, Sharp and consistent eye for garment quality and workmanship, Objective and fair in defect assessment — independent from factory pressure, Clear and accurate in documentation and reporting, Builds effective working relationships with factory staff while maintaining independence, Disciplined, self-directed, and accountable
What You'll Do.
Perform final random inspections (FRI
Stage 5) on finished goods in accordance with AQL sampling plans and Suitsupply inspection criteria
Evaluate garments against approved PP samples
and workmanship standards
Classify and document defects accurately (critical
minor) with photographic evidence
Receive and review factory in-line QC reports for visibility and early risk identification (Stage 4)
Communicate inspection results to factory management and follow up on corrective actions
Submit regular inspection reports to the regional QC Manager
Contribute to Stage 7 data collection: accurate defect logging to feed factory scorecards
Build working relationships with factory production and QC teams
Flag systemic quality issues or production risks to the QC Manager promptly
Support Phase 2 factory capability development over time
Compare AQL results with the factory’s own AQL results and identify discrepancies
Review AQL and factory performance on a regular basis and assist in improvement plans (e. g. improving rework rates through more technical in-line assistance)
Assist in bulk fabric inspections and report any issues such as colour shading

Working closely with factory inspectors and technicians, you will build trusted partnerships that drive continuous quality improvement; Build working relationships with factory production and QC teams; Builds effective working relationships with factory staff while maintaining independence
Communication Scope
Good written and spoken English for reporting to the regional QC Manager; Communicate inspection results to factory management and follow up on corrective actions; Submit regular inspection reports to the regional QC Manager; Clear and accurate in documentation and reporting
