Full Job Description

Parallel Employment Group, in partnership with a leading manufacturing company, is seeking a Quality Control professional to join their team. This role is essential in maintaining product quality and ensuring compliance with company standards and customer specifications. The Quality Control specialist will be responsible for conducting inspections, testing products, documenting results, and collaborating with production teams to resolve quality issues. ### **Key Responsibilities** Essential duties and responsibilities include the following: • Examines material or product for defects. • Compares product with customer/company specifications and quality standards to ensure proper quality and completion of assembly. • Verifies specified dimensions of product. • Assures that each workstation is equipped with a specification sheet at all times. • Rejects defective parts. • Performs function test on products. • Maintains detailed system of recordkeeping. • Assists in training other employees in product specifications and configurations, safe production methods and company standards. • Observes production lines to recommend changes in working methods or conditions that would improve the product quality. Analyzes quality problem areas and develops recommended solutions. • Reads actual cycle times of injection molding machines. • Maintains clean work area. **Requirements** **Qualifications and Skills** * High school diploma or equivalent required; additional certification in quality control or related field is a plus. * Experience in a manufacturing quality control role preferred. * Proficient in reading and interpreting technical documents, blueprints, and quality standards. * Familiarity with quality control tools and techniques. * Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills. * Good communication and teamwork abilities. * Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds. **Benefits** 2nd shift 17.40 Earn a .25 cent increase after working 30 days with
