What They're Looking For.
Must Have
1 year experience in warehouse shipping and handling, Intermediate Computer Skills: Microsoft Office, Must be able to safely operate all warehouse equipment, Must demonstrate excellent written, verbal, and oral presentation skills, Ability to plan, organize, implement, and follow through on projects, Ability to perform well under pressure and short deadlines, Must have the ability to communicate with all levels of management internally and externally, Must be able to frequently lift/push/pull up to 50 lbs, Ability to stoop, kneel, and reach regularly, Ability to work flexible hours and days, weekends, and holidays
Nice to Have
Warehouse shipping and handling experience, Experience WMS AS 400, Inventory Management experience, Microsoft Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, And PowerPoint, A vast knowledge of the fresh produce or perishables industry
What You'll Do.
Inspect inventory quality in warehouse and cold rooms
Open cases and check receiving dates
Ensure proper case rotation in pick slots
Check back stock products on upper-tier racking
Recommend product movement to Repack Department
Recommend product clearance
Communicate needs and opportunities to Buyers
Participate in internal and external Quality audits
Assist with third party and customer audits
Report to management on quality and food safety
Report to management on food safety trends
Perform other duties as assigned

Additional Compensation Details: * Yearly review with possibility of increase based on performance and tenure Essential Duties and Responsibities * Walk the warehouse and cold rooms (including the Repack and Partials room) multiple times daily, inspecting the overall quality of ALL inventories in the facility. This includes opening cases, checking receiving dates, and proper case rotation in the pick slots. * Work with Warehouse staff to check back stock products on upper- tier racking * Work with Sales and Buying departments to recommend movement of product to Repack Department and/or clearance. * Work closely with Buyers, QA, and Operations to communicate needs and opportunities * Participate in internal and external Quality audits.
