Eligibility Requirements

Travel may be required including air and car travel, Sedentary Work, Ability to exert 10 - 20 pounds of force occasionally, negligible amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects

What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or a Technical Field, 1-3 years of relevant experience, analytical, detail oriented, highly organized, process experience, judgment, ability to recognize key problems, ability to work cross-functionally, collaboration skills, excellent customer service skills, work well under pressure, Ability to multi-task, prioritize, meet deadlines, work in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment, Ability to work independently, within a team across all levels and diverse cultures, ability to lead team projects, Intermediate to advanced level Microsoft Suite skills, Excel

Nice to Have

Experience in supplier quality, manufacturing quality, retail quality, or product testing environments, flooring, hardlines, manufacturing, or retail product categories, Knowledge of supplier qualification processes, supplier performance metrics, Understanding of statistical methods, quality tools and methodologies, Supplier Quality background, Experience working with international vendors

What You'll Do.

Partner with suppliers

Ensure products meet quality

Create and manage testing protocols

Investigate field quality issues

Lead root cause analysis

Implement corrective actions

Evaluate supplier performance data

Identify opportunities to improve quality

and operational efficiency

Coordinate product testing

Collaborate cross-functionally to solve quality challenges

Develop internal and external communications

Develop and manage policies and standard operating procedures

Monitor supplier performance

Alert stakeholders of non-compliance

Respond promptly to detected offenses

Develop corrective action plans

Utilize scorecards to track performance metrics

Onboard new suppliers

Test and inspect new product

Validate sales driving attributes

Create and implement testing protocols for product performance

Determine viability of a product

Use testing protocols and inspection results

Determine if changes should be made to product

Reduce and prevent customer claims

Budget for inspections
