What They're Looking For.
Must Have
BAS in Food Science, biology, chemistry or related life science, 3 years of experience in Quality functions, Training strongly preferred in FSMA/FSVP, Food Defense, Preventative Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI) certification, HACCP certification, Familiar with GFSI or NSF QA Standards and Auditing systems, FSMA requirements, Overall knowledge of the US FDA regulation 21 CFR 111 and/or 21 CFR 117, Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, Able to build trend analysis, charts, reports, Well organized, attention to detail, Ability to build a summary and an overall picture, project management skills, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to follow Good Manufacturing Practices

Manage SQ documentation requests
Ensure supplier quality documentation requests are completed
Assess quality and/or regulatory statements
Assess plant/product profiles
Assess ingredient statements
Assess allergen statements
Create supplier records
Maintain supplier records
Create material records
Maintain material records
Prioritize supplier request queue
Create quality-related processes
Create supporting forms
Technically assess information from raw material suppliers
Technically analyze information from raw material suppliers
Technically assess information from manufacturing sites
Technically analyze information from manufacturing sites
Continually improve processes within the group
Continually improve systems within the group
