What You'll Achieve.
Ensure that all products meet established quality standards; Ensure that all safety policies are implemented and adhered to; Maintaining compliance with regulatory requirements; Driving continuous improvement in quality and safety practices; Ensure consistent production standards across all departments; Verify that supplier-provided materials meet internal requirements and regulatory standards; Ensure adherence to company and customer specifications; Prepare accurate reports and analysis; Ensure alignment with corporate and site-level safety programs; Recommend strategic initiatives to improve performance
Industry & Context.
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills; Root cause investigations; Corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans for quality issues; Recommend improvements
Must be able to correctly wear and use any Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required at the location
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
3+ years of experience in a manufacturing quality control/assurance role, Experience with safety program implementation in an industrial or manufacturing setting, understanding of quality methodologies, Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook), Excellent organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and compliance, Excellent verbal and written communication skills, Ability to lead cross-functional teams and conduct training
Nice to Have
Certification in Quality (e.g., CQIA, CQE) and/or Safety (e.g., OSHA 30, CSP, CHST), Familiarity with DOT, OSHA, and EPA regulations, Experience in statistical analysis tools and software, Bilingual communication skills (English/Spanish) a plus, experience with ERP or QMS systems
What You'll Do.

Create and maintain product specifications

Oversee incoming material inspections
Conduct in-process and final product inspections
Perform and document quality assurance testing
Lead root cause investigations and corrective/preventive action (CAPA) plans
Utilize statistical process control (SPC) and other quality tools
Manage and maintain all documentation and records related to quality
Support internal and external audits
Train team members on QA/QC procedures
and manage comprehensive safety programs
Lead the site-wide safety committee and initiatives
Establish and manage a safety audit program
Support incident investigations
Maintain accurate documentation of incidents
Deliver safety training programs
Collaborate with and manage an external safety consultant(s)
Track and report key safety metrics
