What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering, Minimum 5–8 years of UAE experience in QA/QC and material engineering for infrastructure or bridge maintenance projects, knowledge of QA/QC procedures, material testing standards, civil engineering specifications, Familiarity with bridge maintenance, rehabilitation, structural repair works, Good understanding of ISO standards, quality management systems, Proficient in MS Office, preparation of QA/QC documentation, communication and coordination skills, Valid UAE Driving License, Must own a vehicle for site visits and project coordination, Willingness to work across various project locations within the Al Ain Municipality area
Nice to Have
Experience working on Municipality, DOT, or infrastructure maintenance projects in the UAE
What You'll Do.
Implement Quality Management System
Ensure site activities comply with standards
Conduct inspections for bridge maintenance
Prepare Inspection Requests
Coordinate with municipality for inspections
Monitor non-conformance reports
Review subcontractor quality documentation
Ensure testing activities comply with standards
Review material submittals
Verify construction materials comply with specifications
Coordinate material testing activities
Maintain records of material approvals
Monitor storage and handling of materials
Ensure timely availability of approved materials
Conduct site inspections and quality audits
Resolve quality-related issues
Support project team in achieving milestones
Prepare QA/QC reports
