What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum engineering or equivalent degree with minimum GPA 7. 5 and above, Min 2 yrs. of QA experience, Good understanding of upstream applications, Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including: Well construction – drilling techniques, well control, fluids property management, drilling mechanics, performance monitoring, Knowledge of one or more of the basic wells engineering concepts including: Well completions – completion designs, well performance analysis, Experience with SDLC/STLC processes and complete understanding of various testing types viz Smoke, Functional, Integration, Performance, Regression and User Acceptance Testing etc., Well versed with Test Case creation, Defect and Test Management tool (Azure DevOps/TFS, JIRA), Comfortable with Agile methodologies
Nice to Have
Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred, Preferred: EDT Applications, Experience with engineering applications such as WellCat, Wellplan, Compass will be an advantage, Basic understanding of Framework creation using any of the Automation tool, ISTQB foundation level certified (Optional)

Full Job Description
The Quality Assurance Tester, under general supervision from the Team Lead, will execute and evaluate software tests, architecture, and security for the Landmark Drilling suite of applications. Knowledge, skills & experience required: Bachelor or Master Degree from a recognized university in petroleum engineering or equivalent degree with minimum GPA 7.5 and above Min 2 yrs. of QA experience (Experience with Oil and Gas Upstream applications preferred) Good understanding of upstream applications.
