**Job Description:** **At SMG, we turn our patented DAFUZ system to create award winning titles including LEGO _Party! Moving Out, Thumb Drift,_****and****_One More Line_.****We love building fun first games and we don’t take ourselves too seriously.** We are seeking an experienced **QA Manager** on a **2-year contract** to lead our quality assurance efforts. The ideal candidate will have a solid foundation in QA processes methodologies while having a strong emphasis on team management, leadership, and project coordination. **We offer remote working** , but have offices in Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, Perth and Adelaide you could work from depending on you having full Australian working rights. If you're on top of your game (or would like to be) and care about your work, then let’s talk. **Core responsibilities:** * Lead and develop the team through mentoring, performance reviews, and career development. Foster a high‑performing and collaborative QA function * Define, implement, and continuously improve QA strategies, processes, and standards aligned with project goals * Plan and oversee end to end QA execution, ensuring delivery and quality delivery across game builds * Collaborate with the wider SMG studio (i.e. producers, project managers, and department leads) to define testing scope, priorities, and resource allocation * Look after QA documentation and reporting (i.e. test, results, and quality metrics) to support transparency and decision‑making **A bit about you:** * A proven background of quality assurance; you have a strong technical foundation, including a solid understanding of QA methodologies, tools, and industry best practices * Demonstrated ability of leading and motivating QA teams, setting clear expectations, supporting professional growth, and guiding teams through project delivery * Excellent communication and people leadership skills, you’re able to collaborate effectively across disciplines * Genuinely passionate about games and the craft of gam
