What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Previous experience in Quality Control (QC) and/or Quality Assurance (QA) required, Ability to obtain and maintain a valid driver’s license
Nice to Have
three or more years of maritime/ship construction/repair and/or shipbuilding related industry experience desired, An understanding and experience in welding and Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) Level II experience with PT/MT/UT to conduct visual inspections of completed welds to ensure they meet industry standards is desired, Experience in the shipyard of Electrical, Machinery, Piping, Outfitting, NDT, Welding or Mechanical may be considered

Document and report deficient work
Make recommendations for corrective actions
Perform and document various inspections
Conduct daily product verification inspections
Conduct surveillance inspections
Conduct visual inspections of completed welds

Interact and interface with Project Managers; Interact and interface with Craft Superintendents; Interact and interface with Foreman; Interact and interface with Supervisors; Interact and interface with Outfitting Coordinators; Interact and interface with Subcontractors; Interact and interface with Customer Representatives; Interact and interface with Company’s project construction team members; Interact and interface with regulatory body inspectors
