We are on a mission to plant 1 billion verified trees by 2030, collaborating with businesses, planting organizations, and consumers who believe in the transformative power of verified restoration projects to create real and meaningful impact for the planet, nature, and people. veritree is seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to ensure the reliability, performance, and quality of our platform across web and mobile applications. This individual will be responsible for designing and executing test strategies, identifying defects, and collaborating closely with engineering and product teams to deliver a seamless user experience. As veritree scales its technology to support global restoration efforts, this role will be critical in maintaining the integrity of our data and the trust of our partners. ### 6 Month Key Outcomes (6m KOs) 1\. Evolve and update our QA strategy covering functional, regression, and integration testing across web and mobile platforms. 2\. Build and maintain automated test suites that reduce manual testing effort and accelerate release cycles. 3\. Identify and document critical defects early in the development lifecycle, contributing to a measurable reduction in production issues. ### What You’ll Do: ### Test Strategy & Execution • Design, develop, and execute test plans and test cases for new features and existing functionality. • Perform functional, regression, integration, and exploratory testing across web and mobile platforms. • Collaborate with product and engineering to define acceptance criteria and ensure quality standards are met before release. • Track and report on test coverage, defect trends, and quality metrics. ### Test Automation • Build and maintain automated test frameworks and scripts to improve testing efficiency. •
