Must Have
2–5 years of experience in testing mobile games on Android and/or iOS, solid understanding of the full release cycle and QA processes, Understanding of sandbox / survival game specifics: open world, crafting & loot systems, PvP/PvE mechanics, Knowledge of client-server architecture, experience testing online/network gameplay, bug tracking and test management systems (Jira, TestRail), analytics platforms (Firebase, AppMetrica, GameAnalytics), emulators (Bluestacks, Nox, etc. ), CI/CD systems (GitLab, TeamCity), Experience working with development and debugging tools, including Android Studio, adb, logcat, Xcode, and Unity (basic navigation, assets, and component logic), Familiarity with network traffic analysis tools (Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark), version control systems (Git: pull, fetch, log), communication skills, ability to work in a multitasking environment, prioritize tasks effectively, maintain a high level of attention to detail, Experience working with AI tools (Claude, Gemini), Knowledge of programming languages (C#, Python), English - B1+ level, Russian - C1 level

Full Job Description
HyperHug is an international game development studio specializing in the shooter genre. Our main office is based in Cyprus, but our talented team works remotely from around the world. We’re developing Oxide: Survival Island, an immersive multiplayer survival shooter for mobile platforms, and we’re always looking for motivated individuals who want to grow with us, contribute their creativity, and help shape the future of our games. We are looking for a Middle QA Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development and evolution of our flagship game, Oxide: Survival Island. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and stability of the game across all stages of development — from testing new features and gameplay mechanics to regression and release validation. If you enjoy working closely with developers, have a strong eye for detail, and are passionate about survival games, we’d love to hear from you. WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING: - Full-cycle manual testing of a mobile free-to-play project: testing new features and mechanics, regression testing, and acceptance testing. - Creating, maintaining, and updating test documentation (test cases, checklists). - Reporting and documenting found issues and preparing test reports. - Close collaboration with the development team. - Monitoring build stability and overall product quality.
