**This role is for one of the Weekday's clients ** Min Experience: 3 years Location: Bengaluru JobType: full-time **Requirements** **What you’ll do:** * Take full ownership of the QA strategy across our product suite, including the desktop application, CLI, and API workflows. * Develop and manage automated testing pipelines, encompassing end-to-end, regression, and unit tests. * Establish testing procedures, quality standards, and release criteria. * Collaborate closely with Engineering and Product teams to identify and resolve bugs promptly and frequently. * Advocate for product reliability by addressing edge cases, cross-platform challenges, and practical developer scenarios. * Foster a strong QA culture throughout the team by enhancing documentation, tooling, and test coverage. **About you:** * 3 to 5 years of experience in QA or software testing, including leadership roles in QA initiatives. * Proven experience testing developer-focused products, APIs, or CLI tools—preferably those used by hundreds of thousands of users. * Strong expertise in automation frameworks such as Playwright, Cypress, or similar tools. * Comfortable creating and reviewing test cases, maintaining continuous integration pipelines, and working asynchronously. * Exceptional attention to detail and a strong commitment to delivering clean, dependable user experiences. * Excellent written and verbal communication skills. **Bonus:** * Experience contributing to or working within open-source environments. * Familiarity with Electron applications, Node.js, and Git-based workflows. * Hands-on experience testing or developing tools such as API clients or other developer-centric applications. * Ability to thrive in a startup environment or a fast-paced product organization.
