understanding of computer science fundamentals, data structures, analytical and problem-solving skills, Expert level knowledge and capability with automated test tools and concepts, Web Services, REST API testing and automation, mobile E2E testing frameworks, building and operating low-maintenance testing frameworks and automation tools, hands-on use of tools such as Detox for native mobile automation, Jest as a test runner, WireMock for API stub management, Testmo for test case management and traceability, deep understanding of QA methodologies, life cycle and processes, multiple forms of software testing: component, regression, functional, stress, performance testing, Act-like-an-owner mentality, bias toward taking action, Hunger to grow your knowledge and expertise, Desire to continually build a world-class testing framework, quality mindset is visible in the quality of the artefact produced, desire towards continuous improvement reflected in the work approach and attitude, collaborative style reflected in working with multiple diverse teams in product, engineering and design, Ruthless Prioritization approach to enable “More with Less”, Capability in leveraging AI-assisted development tools and agentic workflows to expedite test authoring, gap analysis, and test case generation, utilizing AI coding assistants to automate the conversion of design specifications into executable code

This role will impact OnePay’s vision by assuring our user’s experience is reflective of our intentions while leading the quality efforts in your team. You will work closely with the Product, Design, Engineering and Platform teams working on our API, web, and mobile platforms. This role reports to a QA Manager. This role is responsible for: - Taking acceptance criteria and working with your squad to develop effective test automation. - Dive deep into test cases to ensure not only coverage but depth. - Contributing to our robust testing platforms and framework. - Being a critical squad member for testing and issue troubleshooting - Developing reusable testing solutions for new and existing application functionality - Participating in the greater QA team’s best practices in test development and
