Full Job Description

****Job Description:**** An opportunity for a **PWP Stress Engineer** has arisen within Airbus Defence and Space, Getafe (Madrid). The selected candidate will join the PWP Mechanical Analysis Team. Our department is in charge of participating in the design of the ADS platform PWP through modeling, loads evaluation (static, fatigue, dynamic, thermal), and structure/system definition and validation. We develop static, thermal, and dynamic models of the PWP structure design to integrate engines across our different platforms. The team evaluates structural stresses derived from loads, supporting the design from the pre-design phase to in-service support, including main design reviews, certification, and prototype testing. To perform these activities, our multidisciplinary team is permanently in contact with Flight Physics, Design, and System Integration departments, as well as each program's Chief Engineering office.
