Nice to Have
experience in a commercial construction/low-voltage or electrical industry, understanding of online inventory systems, ERP implementation, industry best practices, experience with project management, Microsoft Excel, ERP systems
What You'll Do.
Onboard vendors to Digi’s systems
Prepare and process purchase orders
Coordinate payment with Accounting
Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers
Resolve issues with suppliers
Maintain accurate purchasing records
Ensure compliance with policies
Prepare reports on purchasing activities
Update product catalog
Identify cost-saving opportunities
Implement process improvements
Assist Inventory Team with audits
Prepare documentation for audits

Position Overview: We are seeking an attentive and results-driven Purchasing Coordinator to join our team. The Purchasing Coordinator ensures that materials, equipment, and licensing are procured accurately, efficiently, and on time to support project execution and service operations. This role is the critical link between purchasing, project management, inventory, and field operations — keeping jobs on schedule and data systems clean. Please note, this is an in-person role and Dallas area candidates will be expected to commute daily to our office located in Richardson. Key Responsibilities: Procurement Management: Onboard vendors to Digi’s systems for billing and invoicing. Prepare and process purchase orders in accordance with company policies and procedures, and coordinate payment with the Accounting department. Vendor Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with key suppliers to ensure the best pricing, quality, and delivery terms. Address and resolve any issues or discrepancies with suppliers regarding quality, quantity, or delivery of security system components. Documentation and Reporting: Maintain accurate records of all purchasing transactions and ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. Prepare regular reports on purchasing activities, costs, and supplier performance. Product Cataloging: Update Digi’s extensive product catalog to reflect most recent product and pricing. Identify and implement cost-saving opportunities without compromising on quality. Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness of inv
