Duties include inventory, purchasing, receiving and storing all food and supplies to ensure quality, minimal waste & cost control. Other responsibilities include stockroom maintenance, delivery inspections and ensuring Federal, State and local compliance. **Job Description** : **EDUCATION:** _Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma._ * HS Diploma or equivalent education/experience **TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:** * 1 year of recent relevant experience. **SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:** * Previous experience with food cost controls and inventory controls. * Thorough knowledge of food specs on all items ordered. * Familiarity of food production and plating specifications to aid in identification of potential waste. * Knowledge of and proper use of telephone etiquette, 10-key adding machine, knowledge of spreadsheets, pallet jack, kitchen equipment specs and scales. * Literacy in English and mathematics in order to complete requisitions, read invoices of incoming goods, price goods and to record accurate quantities. **Job Shift:** Varied **Schedule:** Full Time **Shift Hours:** 8 **Days of the Week:** Variable **Weekend Requirements:** As Needed **Benefits:** Yes **Unions:** No **Position Status:** Non-Exempt **Weekly Hours:** 40 **Employee Status:** Regular Sutter Health is an equal opportunity employer EOE/M/F/Disability/Veterans.
