Bachelor’s degree in Commerce, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or a related field, interest in procurement, supply chain, or operations, Basic understanding of purchasing processes and vendor management, Good communication and negotiation skills (basic level for freshers), Proficiency in MS Excel and basic computer applications, attention to detail and organizational skills, Ability to learn quickly and work in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Exposure to transformer manufacturing or electrical equipment industry, Basic knowledge of materials used in transformer production (e. g. , copper, core steel, insulation materials), Internship or project experience related to procurement or supply chain
What You'll Do.
Assist in sourcing and procurement of raw materials
and services as per company requirements
Support the purchase team in preparing purchase orders
and tracking order status
Coordinate with vendors for quotations
negotiations (basic level)
and delivery timelines
Ensure timely follow-up with suppliers to avoid delays and maintain continuity of supply
Maintain accurate documentation of purchase transactions
Compare vendor quotations and help identify cost-effective purchasing options
Work closely with internal departments such as production
and finance to understand material requirements
Monitor stock levels and assist in maintaining optimal inventory levels
Support in vendor onboarding and maintaining healthy supplier relationships
Ensure compliance with company procurement policies and procedures
