What They're Looking For.
Must Have
B. Sc. in Human Physiology, Biology, Kinesiology, or student registry eligible for the Canadian Association of Cardio Pulmonary Technologist (CACPT), Knowledge of applicable laboratory policies, procedures, ATS guidelines, protocols and practices, Effective verbal and written communication skills, Ability to analyze and interpret complex data, Compassionate and patient-focused approach, Current BCLS certification

Previous experience working with patients in a hospital or clinic environment

Technologist carries out tests according to American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Society recommendation. Duties * Perform spirometry, gas diffusion tests, and other pulmonary function tests. * Perform regular set up and calibration of lab equipment in line with American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Society protocol * Instruct patients for testing and adhere to the American Thoracic Society/European Respiratory Society recommendations. * Accurately record and interpret test results
