What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree in English, communications, public relations or related field, 5+ years of media relations experience, history of pitching content to the press, working with reporters, track record of pitching and securing press coverage, translating data from surveys into meaningful insights, Knowledge of CISION or other PR software platforms, Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
Nice to Have
Background working at a PR agency, Existing relationships with reporters at national publications and top online outlets, understanding of job search, career, and job market-related trends and issues, Familiarity with SEO best practices, Experience running internal surveys to collect, analyze, and report on data
