What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master degree in applied economics/law/engineering/computer science/statistics/econometrics/…, 3 to 6 years’ experience within a consultancy firm or governmental institution, Knowledge in public tendering procedures, fluent in French, Dutch and English
Nice to Have
Prepared to participate in temporary assignments abroad (e.g. France, The Netherlands), knowledge of Belgian and international legislation
What You'll Do.
Develop effective procurement strategies
Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
Develop public procurement strategies
Conduct market research
Analyze procurement needs
Evaluate and select procurement methods
Manage procurement timelines and budgets
Monitor and enforce compliance
Advise clients on compliance requirements
Assist clients in drafting requests
Draft list of requirements
Write proposal specific criteria
Evaluate and select suppliers
Evaluate and award contract
Review and evaluate vendor proposals
Draft list of KPIs and SLAs
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Monitor vendor performance
Conduct training sessions
Provide guidance on best practices
