What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master degree in applied economics/law/engineering/computer science/statistics/econometrics/…, 3 to 6 years’ experience within a consultancy firm or governmental institution, Knowledge in public tendering procedures, fluent in Dutch and English
Nice to Have
French is a plus, Prepared to participate in temporary assignments abroad, knowledge of Belgian and international legislation
What You'll Do.
Develop effective procurement strategies
Assess current procurement processes
Recommend improvements to enhance efficiency
Develop and implement public procurement strategies
Conduct market research and analyse needs
Evaluate and select procurement methods
Manage procurement timelines and budgets
Monitor and enforce compliance with policies
Advise clients on compliance requirements
Assist clients in drafting requests for tenders
Draft list of requirements for tenders
Write proposal specific evaluation criteria
Evaluate and award contract to supplier(s)
Review and evaluate vendor proposals
Draft list of KPIs and SLAs
Build and maintain relationships with suppliers
Monitor vendor performance
Conduct training sessions and workshops
Provide guidance on procurement best practices
