Full Job Description
## Accountabilities Design, develop, customize, and maintain solutions on the PTC Windchill PLM platform. Configure and enhance workflows, lifecycles, business rules, and user interface components. Develop custom applications using Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, XML, and Windchill APIs. Implement and support Windchill modules including PDMLink, ProjectLink, MPMLink, PartsLink, and Change Management. Integrate Windchill with enterprise systems such as ERP, MES, CAD, and other engineering platforms. Support data migration, system upgrades, patching, and performance optimization activities. Troubleshoot and resolve application, workflow, and system performance issues. Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders to translate business requirements into technical solutions. Prepare technical documentation, design specifications, and deployment guidelines. Participate in code reviews, testing, and production support activities. Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related field. 8+ years of overall experience with at least 3+ years in PTC Windchill development. Strong hands-on experience with Windchill PDMLink, Change Management, BOM, lifecycle, and workflow configuration. Proficiency in Java, J2EE, JSP, JavaScript, XML, and SQL development. Experience with Windchill APIs and customization frameworks. Strong understanding of PLM concepts, system integration, and product data management. Experience with enterprise integrations (ERP, CAD, MES systems) is highly desirable. Strong debugging, troubleshooting, and performance tuning skills. Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus. Experience with Windchill upgrades, migration projects, and production support. Windchill certifications or exposure to Windchill 11.x/12.x versions is an advantage.
