What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Master's degree in Psychology (school, clinical, or related), Eighteen months of clinical experience in psychological assessment with a pediatric population
Nice to Have
Ed. S. , Ph. D, and Psy. D completers, Previous experience working with children with Autism Spectrum Disorder, ability to administer the ADOS-2, Licensure in North Carolina as a Psychological Associate or Licensed Psychologist, licensure eligible in the state of North Carolina based on their previous training, have passed their required licensure tests, and only need to complete their supervised work experience for licensure
What You'll Do.
Selects and administers a variety of psychological tests to pediatric patients
Independently interprets tests
Prepares a written narrative report of diagnostic findings
Communicates assessment results to families
Makes recommendations for intervention planning and monitoring based on assessment results
Functions within a multi-disciplinary team of professionals
Conduct individual and group therapeutic interventions with children and/or parents
