Role Brief: The Psychiatrist provides specialist psychiatric assessment, diagnostic clarification,  medication review, and clinical consultation within Spectrum.Life’s end-to-end mental health stepped-care service. The role supports Step-5 escalation and medical oversight, ensuring members  with complex, severe, or diagnostically uncertain presentations receive timely, safe, and evidence-based care. Schedule: Responsibilities: Psychiatric Assessment and Consultation • Deliver psychiatric assessments following referral from clinical triage or therapy services • Provide diagnostic clarification and formulation input • Conduct risk assessments and safety planning • Provide medication advice and prescribing recommendations • Deliver follow-up psychiatric review sessions where clinically indicated • Support complex case formulation Stepped-Care Model Integration • Operate within Step-5 of the stepped-care model • Support escalation decisions and MDT collaboration • Provide consultation to therapy teams on complex presentations MULTIDISCIPLINARY COLLABORATION • Work with Clinical Lead, psychologists, HI-CBT therapists, counsellors, and 24/7 team • Participate in case consultations and MDT discussions EXTERNAL COO
