About the Role We are looking for a highly hands-on Prototype Engineer to rapidly turn ideas into functional systems like maritime autonomous platforms. In the N3XT Team , you will build, test and iterate prototypes at the intersection of UAVs, marine systems, mechanics and electronics. This role is for builders — people who enjoy solving difficult engineering challenges and creating clever, practical solutions under uncertainty. #### What is your Day-to-Day Mission: * Develop and build prototypes for next-generation drones and autonomous systems , including maritime platforms * Design, integrate and test mechanical and electronic components * Rapidly iterate concepts from idea → prototype → field testing * Solve complex mechanical challenges with lightweight, robust and manufacturable designs * Support integration of sensors, electronics and subsystems into operational prototypes ## Requirements #### What You Bring to the Team * Must-Haves * Strong hands-on engineering mindset with proven prototyping experience * Good CAD skills (CATIA, Fusion 360 or similar) * Solid understanding of mechanics, construction principles and system integration * Experience assembling or integrating electronics * Practical experience with drones, UAVs or autonomous systems * Strong spatial reasoning, creativity and problem-solving ability * Ability to work fast and independently in ambiguous environments Strong Plus * Experience with ArduPilot, PX4 or comparable flight-control systems * Experience building, modifying or operating drones * Familiarity with maritime systems , marine operations or hydrodynamics * Background in marine engineering, boating, underwater systems or autonomous maritime vehicles * Experience with rapid manufacturing methods (3D printing, CNC, composites) Ideal Profile You build things outside of work.
