**Overview:** **Full time only, Benefits Eligible** **Every Saturday and Sunday Required** **Typical Hours:** **5:45am-2:15pm, 1:45pm-10:15pm or 9:45pm-6:15am** **** **Location:** Multiple Locations **Job Description Summary:** Performs a wide variety of access control, access guidance, administrative duties, and customer service for the department. **Job Description:** **Essential Job Functions:** * Greets guests in a professional, welcoming, and friendly manner at elevator posts and metal detectors; directs them to requested locations. Relays any special needs or escorts requested by visitors. * Supports access control by confirming proper credentials for individuals entering and exiting access-controlled areas. * Verifies patient discharge paperwork when applicable. * Issues badges to guests after determining requirements are met. * Anticipates possible emergency or crisis situations; directs and performs efficiently, using sound judgment. * Provides general administrative support to the department as needed. **Education Requirement:** High School diploma, required. **Certifications:** CPR required, IAHSS (basic certification) preferred (obtained through dept.) various other certifications as outlined and provided by the department and policy. **Skills:** * Requires attention to detail and excellent interpersonal skills to effectively interact with others. * Ability to comprehend hospital and departmental policies and procedures, criminal statutes, and regulatory publications. * Requires ability to prioritize tasks and maintain traffic flow in the lobby area. * Proficiency with Microsoft Office. **Experience** Customer service experience required. **Physical Requirements:** OCCASIONALLY: Bend/twist, Squat/kneel, Climb stairs/ladder, Flexing/extending of neck, Reaching above shoulder, Hand use: grasping, gripping, turning, Repetitive hand/arm use, Lifting / Carrying: 0-10 lbs, Standing, Walking FREQUENTLY: Audible speech, Hearing acuity, Depth perception, Color vi
