Full Job Description
ABOUT MACH INDUSTRIES Founded in 2022, Mach Industries is a rapidly growing defense technology company focused on developing next-generation autonomous defense platforms. At the core of our mission is the commitment to delivering scalable, decentralized defense systems that enhance the strategic capabilities of the United States and its allies. With a workforce of approximately 220 employees, we operate with startup agility and ambition. Our vision is to redefine the future of warfare through cutting-edge manufacturing, innovation at speed, and unwavering focus on national security. We are dedicated to solving the next generation of warfare with lethal systems that deter kinetic conflict and protect global security. THE ROLE Mach Energetics is seeking a Propulsion Test Engineer to support the planning, execution, and analysis of next-generation propulsion and energetic systems for advanced defense applications. In this role, you will work directly on propulsion hardware, test infrastructure, and data-driven test campaigns that enable rapid development, validation, and deployment of mission-critical systems. You will serve as the bridge between design and flight, ensuring propulsion systems perform reliably under extreme operating conditions. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES - Test Design & Setup: Design and maintain propulsion test stands and ground support systems used to secure engines during static fire and development testing. - Execution: Lead and support test campaigns ranging from component-level testing (valves, regulators, feed systems) to full-scale integrated rocket engine hot-fire operations. - Data Analysis: Use high-speed sensors and instrumentation to collect and analyze pressure, temperature, and thrust data to validate performance against specifications. - Safety & Operations: Execute and oversee hazardous operations involving high-pressure systems and cryogenic propellants such as liquid oxygen (LOX), ensuring strict safety compliance and operational disciplin
