Position Summary & Objective The Proposal Leader prepares company proposals and works to ensure goals are met in a timely manner. The Proposal Leader will collaborate with various departments throughout the company to review and assess project plans. Responsible for creating proposals and maintaining communication with prospects. Accountabilities * Development of final and budgetary proposals for company products and services * Leadership and coordination of technical and commercial information necessary to respond to customer and company needs Essential Functions Performed by the Position * Take ownership in preparation/ follow-up of proposals for company products and services in response to customer requests by: * Gaining full understanding of customer needs through thorough review of customer provided information and communication with respective account manager * Communicating proposal requirements to functional departments * Oversee solicitations and assist in evaluating quotations from potential major subcontractors with support from our purchasing and engineering departments along with our estimators * Compiling and reviewing functional department proposal input to ensure compliance with customer technical and commercial requirements * Maintaining and ensuring the dispositioning of entries into the proposal risk register * Preparing the necessary pricing with input from estimating, supply c
