Together we aim to serve our internal and external clients with out of the box solutions. **The role** We are looking a precise Proposal Engineer Steel to support our product managers and the internal sales organization. Your role is to take the initial ideas from the client/organization, do the initial feasibility check, produce a price and a specification ready for a contact. For this you work together with different departments within C&MC and Damen to come up with the best solution for your client. Next to the sales driven requests, you will ensure that our product is standardized together with the product manager and ensure that all sales data is up to date. **Tasks and responsibilities** As Proposal Engineer Steel within Damen Civil and Modular Construction you will fill your week with the following tasks and responsibilities: * Support in the development of new sales opportunities * Ensure compliancy of the products with maritime law and regulations * Delivery accurate cost prices for our products * Assist in managing the product portfolio **Education / skills and experience:** You have a creative and precise thought process with a strong technical affinity.
