translate workflows into requirements; turn real-world accounting cases into clear requirements and acceptance pressure-test features before release; validate prorations, allocations, adjustments, and charge/credit logic for accuracy and explainability; confirm outputs reconcile to expectations; distill patterns and edge cases from enterprise customers into durable standards and playbooks
Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week
What They're Looking For.
Must Have
5+ years in multifamily property accounting or controllership at a PMC/owner-operator/REIT, Deep knowledge across GL & sub-ledgers, resident ledgers, deposits, and US GAAP grounding, CPA or similar credentials, Comfortable communicating with client accounting/operations/leasing teams, Crisp stakeholder communications, including writing & presentations, Willingness to work in person at our office 4-5 days a week
Nice to Have
Experience working in a software / SaaS environment, Familiarity with leading multifamily systems and data handoffs, Familiarity with AI and/or automation as they relate to accounting workflows

define standards and terminology
establish consistent event lifecycles
and concise reference guides for controllers and onsite teams
capture best practices
distill patterns and edge cases from enterprise customers into durable standards and playbooks
