What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Completed degree in Automation Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Process Engineering, Energy Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or comparable, Min. 2 years experience in power plants or energy generating facilities, Familiar with implementation, commissioning, and operation of facilities, Proficient in control system network topologies, sensors and actuators, PLC, control technology, automation components, IT security, functional safety (SIL), Good understanding of control technology and automation systems in power plants, Familiar with control systems (PCS7, T3000, TIA, WinCC, or similar), Structured and independent work style, Fluent German (C2 level), Good English skills
Nice to Have
Initial experience in process engineering in power plants, Experience with steam generation, Experience with water-steam cycle, Experience with thermodynamics, Experience with heat transfer, Experience with combustion processes, Experience with flue gas cleaning
What You'll Do.
Plan control technology solutions for power and energy
Support customers with technical project implementation
Conceive and develop automation solutions
and measurement technology
Shape customer projects in various service phases
and evaluate control technology concepts
Develop concepts for new plants and retrofits
Create cost estimates and calculations
Participate in tenders
Create project documentation
Analyze existing plants
Identify optimization potentials
Identify modernization potentials
Monitor external implementation at power plant site
Verify proper execution
Support technical and quality assurance acceptances
Coordinate collaboration with internal departments
Coordinate collaboration with customers
Coordinate collaboration with external partners
and quality alignment
