What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, Minimum 8 years project delivery, Minimum 5 years design experience, Licensed Professional Engineer in Ontario (P. Eng.), Member of Professional Engineers of Ontario (PEO), Experience coordinating multi-discipline designs, Experience coordinating construction projects
Nice to Have
Proficiency with AutoCAD/Civil3D, Proficiency with Microstation/OpenRoads, Proficiency with Office 365, Proficiency with MS Project
What You'll Do.
Manage transportation projects
Manage project schedules
Manage project budgets
Manage cost control processes
Manage quality control
Manage work procedures
Prepare designs for urban/rural road construction
Prepare contracts for urban/rural road construction
Prepare designs for watermains
Prepare contracts for watermains
Prepare designs for storm sewers
Prepare contracts for storm sewers
Prepare designs for sanitary sewers
Prepare contracts for sanitary sewers
Supervise design of specific projects
Guide technical staff
Perform technical reviews of documents
Perform technical reviews of design
Prepare project specifications
Resolve engineering challenges
Liaise with government authorities
Liaise with regulatory authorities
Liaise with environmental authorities
Guide projects through permit approval
Maintain business relationships
Coordinate business development activities
Identify marketing opportunities
Pursue new client opportunities
