What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Associate's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field, 5+ years of experience managing IT projects, focus on software development, implementation, and cybersecurity, knowledge of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall), knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC), familiarity with cybersecurity frameworks and best practices, knowledge of SOC 2, ITIL, and NIST frameworks, proven ability to manage IT projects in a small to mid-sized organization, excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, experience with vendor management, experience with resource planning, experience with risk management

Nice to Have

Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent, experience in managing IT projects in a government or public sector environment, knowledge of cloud platforms, knowledge of cybersecurity tools, familiarity with financial planning, familiarity with cost-benefit analysis for IT projects, prior experience supporting or implementing controls aligned with SOC 2, ITIL, or NIST frameworks within an IT or software environment

What You'll Do.

Oversee IT projects related to software

Develop and maintain project plans

Monitor project progress

Administer project management software tools

Administer software program inventory

Administer IT Steering Committee

Coordinate client procurement authorizations

Collect business and technical requirements

Conduct market research for software tools

Support evaluation and selection of software

Coordinate onboarding of new software tools

and route software contracts

Maintain inventory of software tools

Validate software vendor invoices

Administer and maintain user lists

Track usage and license allocation

Develop and manage project budgets

Track and report project expenditures

Provide input on IT budget planning

Act as primary contact for software projects

Facilitate collaboration between departments

Prepare and deliver project updates
