Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience, Five years in design or construction related experience, Registered Interior Designer or Registered Architect in the State of Texas or ability to obtain within one year, Knowledge of construction principles and practices, Ability to read and interpret contract documents, Ability to multi-task and work cooperatively with others
What You'll Do.
Serve as a subject matter expert throughout the life of assigned projects
Provide professional guidance by reviewing and coordinating all interior design services during design
Provide administrative and technical supervision during construction and occupancy on new construction and major renovation projects
Provide technical guidance during all project phases
Manage the development of design and performance standards for quality and style in furniture
fixtures and equipment
Prepare budgets and schedules as needed during design
Review and reconcile budgets and schedule during construction
Review bid documents including contract specifications and plan layouts
Perform inspections to evaluate the performance of installed furniture
fixtures and equipment
Resolve specific problems with furnishings and monitor warranties
Attend bid openings and recommend action on bids
Supervise installation of moveable furnishings and recommend extent of payments
Attend architect/engineer design review meetings
Provide 'as-furnished' drawings and specifications
warranties and maintenance instructions to using agencies
Provide related professional services as requested
