What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's degree in technology, business, management or relatable experience, OR relevant job experience., 3+ years’ experience in a project manager role within a manufacturing or operations environment., Understanding of manufacturing or operations systems including knowing how a warehouse floor operates., Ability to manage project budgets, cost center flows and vendor management cycle., Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, SharePoint) and other project management tools., Stakeholder management experience within a project management role., Experience in facilitating discussions and conflict resolution in a cross-functional environment., Advanced knowledge of project management software tools like MS Project and Smartsheet.

Nice to Have

5+ years preferred, Consumer Goods industry experience preferred., Operations PM experience (manufacturing, warehousing, quality, et al) preferred.

Apply project management tools

methodologies and best practices to ensure the on-time launch and flawless execution of projects from concept to end.

Identify and manage potential risks and liabilities.

identify project management coordination gaps or areas of improvement and make effective decisions when presented with multiple options for how to progress the project.

Manage and control project budget providing cost forecasts and cash flow projections through development of project cost and status reports on at least a monthly basis or as requested by project stakeholders.

Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and create reports highlighting the KPIs that are below targets.

coordinate root cause analysis when targets are not met and support the implementation of solutions.

Update project details in the portfolio management system including maintenance of resource plans.

Review resource time entries to identify where planned versus actuals time entries deviate.

Title: Project Manager-Digital Enterprise Manufacturing Location: Remote (candidates must be located in the United States) Company: Fortune 100 Food & Beverage Manufacturing (FuseGlobal has worked with this company for 20 years) Initial term: 12 months (position expected to run longer) Schedule: Monday to Thursday onsite, Friday WFH. Travel: Once per month up to 50% and will travel more around go-lives About This Role: As the Project Manager on the Enterprise Digital Manufacturing team, you will manage projects related to the Product Supply organization. This will include monitoring and reporting on key performance indicators, and assisting in the day-to-day operations of the team. You will be responsible for managing assigned projects throughout their life cycle (as per established Project Management Standards and Guidelines) to ensure benefits as prescribed in the business case are delivered. The primary role is to control the project performance (Scope, Time, Quality, Cost, Risk, Benefits) and coordinate the activities of the team responsible for project deliverables. You will plan, delegate, monitor and control project performance in a standard process (Identifying a Project, Defining a Project, Executing a Project, Directing a Project, and Closing a Project). Your performance and effectiveness is determined by the forward visibility, situational awareness, and escalation/issue resolution for the assigned project(s).
