The conference will take place in Montreal, Canada, and is co-organized by the Tanenbaum Open Science Institute (TOSI) and the Center for Open Science (COS). This role, based in Montreal and part of the TOSI team, involves coordinating logistics, managing timelines, and ensuring seamless collaboration among stakeholders, including researchers, sponsors, and institutional partners. **Primary Responsibilities:** **_Conference Planning & Execution_** * Develop and manage the overall project plan for the Metascience Conference 2027, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables. * Oversee venue arrangements (or hybrid platform setup), catering, AV requirements, and accessibility considerations. * Work closely with an event management company to ensure professional execution of all logistical aspects. * Manages abstract submissions, peer review processes, and program scheduling. **_Program Committee Coordination_** * Recruit and assemble a Conference Program Committee composed of leading experts in metascience. * Oversee the committee’s operations, including agenda setting and scheduling meetings ** _Stakeholder Management_** * With the event management company, serve as the point of contact for speakers, panelists, and attend
