What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, or a related technical field (or equivalent experience), 5+ years of experience in project management within manufacturing, automotive, or industrial environments, Proven experience managing equipment integration, production launches, or plant-level projects, understanding of manufacturing processes, production systems, and plant operations, Exposure to Industry 4.0 concepts such as automation, data integration, digital manufacturing, or smart factory systems, experience in automotive or manufacturing environments, combined with project management expertise and an understanding of modern, connected production systems., Experience coordinating cross-functional teams in a production environment, Solid knowledge of project management principles (timeline, cost, risk, scope management), organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, Excellent communication and leadership abilities, Ability to manage multiple projects in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment, Visual acuity is necessary to read prints, specifications and work instructions, manipulate parts, tools, machines and other objects., Hearing acuity to understand verbal instructions, respond to emergency signals., Must be able to read, write, speak the English language to communicate with other staff, Exposure to moderate to high levels of noise, laser beams, flashing or blinking lights, machine signals and other sounds associated with a manufacturing environment., Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) in the form of safety glasses and safety footwear is required when on the shop floor., Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds., Ability to work in a non-temperature-controlled environment, Knowledge of automotive specifications and customer guidelines, Ability to read product and plant floor prints, Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite of software

Nice to Have

Experience in automotive manufacturing, Tier 1 supplier environment or equipment integration, Familiarity with production line automation, robotics, PLCs, or assembly systems, Experience with manufacturing data systems (MES, SCADA, or similar platforms), Project management certifications (PMP, CAPM, or similar), Experience with lean manufacturing, continuous improvement, or Six Sigma methodologies, Exposure to digital transformation initiatives or smart factory implementations, Familiarity with APQP, PPAP, or other automotive quality standards, Experience working with suppliers, system integrators, or capital equipment vendors, Proficiency with project tracking tools (MS Project, Excel, Smartsheet)
