We are seeking an experienced Construction Project Manager to manage the day-to-day activities of execution and delivery of design-build services for a new borough-based jail in NYC. Responsibilities: -Provide construction management and administration services for a design-build project. -Support the Senior Project Manager in monitoring contractor adherence to approved plans, specifications, and appropriate governing code. -Document construction activity related to the progress of the work and any issues that may arise. When necessary, point out conditions that may lead to unsatisfactory work. -Coordinate the construction management staff which will include inspectors, schedulers, estimators, site safety, and document controls. Also provide coordination with design team, program controls team, community outreach team, and other stakeholders. -Interface with the construction contractor’s work force, primarily with management but also foremen and field supers, as appropriate to implement the work. -Identify deficient contractor work, monitor, and verify that the Contractor effectively corrects deficient work. Record and drive to resolution corrective actions. -Manage and apply program level policies and procedures to the specific project. -Maintain proper reporting and records management covering contracts, drawings, correspondence, progress reports, as well as oversight of permits and regulatory compliance requirements. -Monitor Contractor co
