What They're Looking For.

Must Have

Bachelor's Degree required, preferably in Urban Planning, Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field, 3–5+ years of experience in land use planning, development, or project management, Experience supporting capital projects, including budgeting, scheduling, and consultant coordination, Experience with land use entitlement and permitting processes across multiple jurisdictions, Understanding of land use codes, development agreements, easements, encroachments and land management, Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously while maintaining attention to detail, written, presentation, and verbal communication comfortable working with leadership, public agencies, and external stakeholders, Experience coordinating across internal teams and external partners, including municipalities, agencies, consultants, and contractors, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills, Proficiency in project management methodologies, tools, and change management practices, Ability to build and maintain relationships and influence cross-functional teams without direct authority, business acumen with the ability to align project execution with broader resort goals and objectives

What You'll Do.

Support execution of annual capital expenditure projects from planning

and construction delivery

Coordinate with local jurisdictions including Park City

and Wasatch County to support regulatory alignment

Support Business Units in development of capital investment memorandums

including construction budgeting and scope definition

Develop project scopes

and line-item budgets to support successful project execution

Support implementation of project delivery strategies aligned with Deer Valley’s capital planning and long-term development objectives

Coordinate contractors

and internal stakeholders to support delivery within scope

Monitor project progress and escalate risks

supporting adjustments to scope

and resources as needed

Support preparation of construction documents

based on design direction from Resort leadership

Support construction-to-operations handoff by ensuring projects are delivered in a manner that enables operational readiness

Support the Vice President of Resort Planning and Director of Program Development in advancing large-scale development and strategic initiatives
