What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in mechanical, electrical, software, construction management, or similar technical field, At least 5 years of relevant industrial PM experience, Project management experience with delivering projects, technical background (electrical, mechanical-, marine engineer or similar), contractual and commercial knowledge and experience, Process oriented, implement project management processes based on PMO standards, Hands-on approach, planning and budgeting, project administration, decision-making / creative problem-solving skills, Work closely with team members and decision makers, Able to interface with all members of the organization, Strong, independent decision-making ability, Self-starter, work ethic, Participate in required on-going technical training, willing to travel, work as part of a global team, PMP Certification is required or must obtain PMI/PMP Certification within one year of hire
Nice to Have
preferably in the mechatronic/industrial automation industry, cross-cultural understanding, good interpersonal, communication and collaboration skills, ability to motivate others toward success, Excellent report writing and presentation skills
What You'll Do.
Engage with Sales and engineering team
Execute new sales projects
Manage portfolio of projects
Organize projects through Stage Gate model
Communicate with customers
Lead multi-disciplined project team
Manage project management processes
Identify and manage opportunities and risks
Manage potential back charges and claims
Create essential documentation
Ensure overall project delivery
Develop and update project schedule
Create financial reporting
Control project budget
Support site during installation
Update monthly status reports
Coordinate and prepare meetings
Follow up on action points
Expedite critical activities
Keep project documents updated
Manage changes with project team
Support QSHE department
Ensure project health
environmental standards
Ensure all customer documentation is created and stored
Close projects in system
Visit construction site
