Project Management Specialist **Company:** The Boeing Company **Boeing Defense, Space and Security (BDS)** is seeking a Project Management Specialist to support the Materials Management team in Berkley, MO. This role will report to the senior leaders in materials management and will support the development and implementation of Production Control. **_Position Responsibilities:_** • Create project plans including task and look ahead • Identify risk that could affect the project and develop actions to prevent • Provide leadership direction and oversite while ensuring the project stays on schedule • Record all relevant information and make it easily available • Create / deliver bi-weekly presentation to leadership • Identify the root cause of any issues that arise and take appropriate action to solve them • Oversees, develops, coordinates, integrates, analyzes, and maintains integrated plans and schedules for highly complex or difficult projects, programs and change driven activities to execute in accordance with project management industry standards • Directs and provides high level studies/analysis (trend, variance, impact), determines scope, reports, and oversight of planning requests • Identifies risk and opportunity potential, develops mitigation planning and refines the business case • Develops and executes the process and strategy for the integration of plans and schedules • Consults and recommends integrated planning, scheduling, change and baseline management, processes, techniques and tools to management considered to be best practices across the industry • Recognized as primary project contact to establish key stakeholder requirements and project objectives • Authorizes commitment of resources by obtaining approvals from stakeholders • Oversees deployment of approved recommendations at Division, Business Unit, and/or Enterprise levels ** _Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):_** * 5+ years’ experience working as a Project Management Specialist u
