What You'll Achieve.
Build and maintain EVM rollups across the Numenor pod and successor pods; Produce the monthly project cost report; Develop and maintain capital plan inputs across the FEL → construction → COD horizon; Run quarterly capital forecasts and cash-flow updates feeding into the corporate plan; Build the long-range capital trajectory across multi-pod replication scenarios; Produce LCOE / unit-cost-of-energy outputs across scenarios for executive and Board review; Support financing-readiness work; Prepare gate financial packages for internal stage-gate reviews and external readouts; Lead financial sections of NRC ESP/COL filings and DOE program submittals where capital cost and financial assurance are in scope.

5+ years in project finance, infrastructure finance, or corporate development with a project-economics focus, Demonstrated EVM rollup or capital-plan ownership, financial modeling — capex, opex, financing structure, sensitivity, Track record producing executive-grade financial packages under tight deadlines

What You'll Do.
Owns project economics and EVM analysis across the program
Partner with Finance leadership on monthly cost reporting and gate financial packages
Partner with the Cost Estimator on capital plan inputs
Build and maintain EVM rollups
Reconcile actuals against the AACE Class 3–5 estimate baseline
Produce the monthly project cost report
Maintain the cost coding structure (WBS / CBS)
Develop and maintain capital plan inputs
Run quarterly capital forecasts and cash-flow updates
Build the long-range capital trajectory
Build scenario models for capex sensitivity
and offtake economics
Produce LCOE / unit-cost-of-energy outputs
Support financing-readiness work
Prepare gate financial packages
Lead financial sections of NRC ESP/COL filings and DOE program submittals
Coordinate with the Head of Regulatory Affairs on financial-assurance regulatory filings
How You'll Work.
Team & Collaboration
Partner with Valar's Finance leadership; Partner with the Cost Estimator (MSG-CostE); Partner with MSG-CostE on cost rollups, vendor quote normalization, and contingency methodology; Partner with GS1P-ESM on offtake pricing models and customer-deal economics; Partner with the Head of Regulatory Affairs on financial assurance and decommissioning funding mechanics; Partner with the Project Controller (GS1P-PC) on cost-loaded schedule integration and EVM tooling
