What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability from a recognized university., in environmental management and/or sustainability on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in a site-based role., knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and permitting requirements applicable to construction projects in KSA or the GCC., Demonstrated experience implementing Environmental Management Systems and sustainable construction practices on major projects., Proven ability to lead environmental and sustainability programs, conduct audits, and influence contractor performance., communication, coordination, and report-writing skills, with the ability to interface confidently with clients, regulators, and contractors., Familiarity with HSE management systems and the integration of environmental and sustainability requirements within overall project HSE frameworks.
Nice to Have
Experience with green building/sustainability rating systems (e.g. , LEED, Envision, BREEAM, Mostadam or similar); relevant accreditation or certification is preferred., Experience in KSA or the GCC region is preferred.

The objective of this program is to create a vibrant, inclusive environment that enhances livability, accessibility, and community well-being. What You’ll Be Doing * Report to the Project Director/Construction Director and act as the project lead for environmental management and sustainability on site. * Develop, implement, and oversee the Project Environmental Management Plan and Sustainability Plan in line with Parsons standards, client requirements, and applicable regulations. * Review and approve the contractor’s Environmental & Sustainability Plans, CEMP, Waste Management Plan, Pollution Prevention Plan, and related procedures, ensuring alignment with project objectives. * Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with local environmental regulations, permit conditions, and sustainability targets (e.g., resource efficiency, waste reduction, carbon considerations). * Conduct regular environmental and sustainability inspections and audits on site, identifying non‑conformances and ensuring timely corrective and preventive actions. * Oversee management of waste, noise, dust, air quality, water usage, soil protection, ecology, and hazardous materials in accordance with project standards. * Coordinate environmental monitoring
