What They're Looking For.
Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Environmental Science, Environmental Engineering, Sustainability from a recognized university., in environmental management and/or sustainability on large-scale construction or infrastructure projects, preferably in a site-based role., knowledge of environmental regulations, standards, and permitting requirements applicable to construction projects in KSA or the GCC., Demonstrated experience implementing Environmental Management Systems and sustainable construction practices on major projects., Proven ability to lead environmental and sustainability programs, conduct audits, and influence contractor performance., communication, coordination, and report-writing skills, with the ability to interface confidently with clients, regulators, and contractors., Familiarity with HSE management systems and the integration of environmental and sustainability requirements within overall project HSE frameworks.
Nice to Have
Experience with green building/sustainability rating systems (e.g. , LEED, Envision, BREEAM, Mostadam or similar); relevant accreditation or certification is preferred., Experience in KSA or the GCC region is preferred.
What You'll Do.

Waste Management Plan
Pollution Prevention Plan
and related procedures.
Monitor construction activities to ensure compliance with local environmental regulations
and sustainability targets.
Conduct regular environmental and sustainability inspections and audits on site.
Oversee management of waste
and hazardous materials.
Coordinate environmental monitoring activities and review monitoring reports.
and design teams to integrate sustainability principles.
Support implementation of sustainability rating system requirements.
Provide technical guidance to Parsons and contractor teams on environmental best practices and sustainable construction solutions.
Lead or participate in environmental incident investigations
Prepare and deliver training and toolbox talks on environmental and sustainability topics.
Coordinate with client representatives
regulatory authorities
and third-party auditors on all environmental and sustainability matters.
Manage project environmental and sustainability reporting.
Ensure that environmental risks and opportunities are identified early
and incorporated into project risk registers and mitigation plans.
Support handover and close-out activities by verifying environmental commitments are fulfilled
documentation is complete
and sustainability targets/credits are properly evidenced.
