Must Have

Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Professional Engineer (P. Eng) licensed in Canada and/or the U. S. , in good standing, Minimum 16 years of engineering experience, including design, leadership, and nuclear site project exposure, knowledge of nuclear plant systems, operations, regulatory frameworks, and applicable codes/standards (including National Building Code of Canada), Proficiency in 3D drafting and structural analysis tools (e. g. , SmartPlant 3D) and seismic analysis for nuclear applications, Proven ability to lead multidisciplinary engineering teams in high-performance environments, communication, stakeholder engagement, mentoring, and project planning capabilities, Experience in talent management, succession planning, hiring, security clearance eligibility required

### **Job Description** ## **Overview** Reporting to the Vice President of Monark Engineering, the Project Engineering Director - Civil plays a pivotal strategic and technical leadership role in advancing our Monark New Build. This role is ideal for a seasoned nuclear professional who thrives at the intersection of engineering excellence, innovation, and people leadership. The Project Engineering Director – Civil shall provide strategic and principal leadership role with respect to their assigned technical disciplines of the Monark New Build Project. They are responsible for building and sustaining a high-performing, multidisciplinary team of engineers, designers, and technicians with primary accountability for the civil & structural scope of the project.
