Must Have
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, 5 years of experience in transportation or municipal road design, Experience preparing engineering drawings and contract documents, Knowledge of municipal design standards and applicable regulations in Ontario, Proficiency in AutoCAD/Civil 3D, Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Written communication skills, Verbal communication skills
Nice to Have
Progress toward P. Eng. in Ontario, Experience with MS Project
What You'll Do.
Support delivery of transportation projects
Assist with schedules
Assist with quality control processes
Prepare detailed engineering designs
Prepare contract documents
Assist with design of municipal infrastructure
Coordinate with internal team members
Coordinate with external consultants
Coordinate with clients
Resolve design challenges
Participate in preparation of technical reports
Participate in preparation of specifications
Participate in preparation of tender documents
Provide support during tendering
Provide support during construction
Respond to contractor inquiries
Liaise with municipalities
Liaise with regulatory authorities
Support permit process
Support approval process
Contribute to collaborative team environment
Support development of junior staff
