As NASA’s largest engineering solutions provider working together with NASA at centers across the United States.  We have an exciting opportunity for a Project Engineer - Spaceflight Hardware  to join the team with Barrios, a teammate company. ** We are actively searching for qualified candidates for this potential opening; however, we do not have assurance at this time when the position will be finalized and opened. Because we have strong reason to believe the position will be approved soon, we are proceeding with identifying qualified candidates and conducting interviews. ** The Project Engineer - Spaceflight Hardware will: Provide test support. Prepare and close test paperwork. Maintain and ensure baseline test configuration and document any configuration changes. Organize and track inventory. Plan and execute hardware troubleshooting to investigate failures within hardware or test support hardware. Coordinate with test facilities (i.e. Vibration Test Facility) as needed. Coordinate flight logistics as flight articles are prepared for launch to the International Space Station (ISS). Generate essential paperwork and documents for tasks assigned, such as Task Performance Sheets (TPS), Discrepancy Reports (DR), and Detailed Test Procedures (DTP), as needed.
